Performance Terms & Conditions

Purchasing/Collection:

1. Full payment is required at time of booking;

2. Booking in advance is highly recommended as performances can be very busy, and can sometimes sell out prior to the day;

3. When purchasing tickets once the performance has already started, if available, tickets will be charged at full price;

4. Many venues have a maximum capacity limit for tickets. Once this limit is met there will be no further ticket sales. lf all advanced tickets are sold out prior to the performance, there will be no tickets sold on the day;

5. All prices and information are correct at the time of publishing. However they are subject to change at any time without prior notice;

6. All tickets are non-refundable. All tickets are non-transferable once purchased;

7. Where available, an adult ticket is valid for customers aged 16 years and over. A child ticket is valid for customers aged 5 - 15 inclusive;

8. Customers are advised to check their tickets upon receipt as mistakes cannot always be rectified;

9. Online sales are often available for performance tickets. lf you have purchased your tickets online, please bring the e-mail confirmation letter or the unique bar code with you to gain entry.

Admission:

10. A valid ticket is required to enter all performances. If this is not produced, or the ticket is defaced or altered in anyway, admission to the performance will not be permitted;

11. Where a ticket is exchanged for a wristband on entry, the wristband must be worn for the duration of the performance. Wristbands must be collected from the entrance. These wristbands will allow access, exit and re-entry to the performance;

12. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, aged 16 or over, at all times;

13. For the customers' and dogs' safety and comfort, dogs are not permitted to any of the performances, with the exception of guide dogs. Owners must take full responsibility for their guide dog’s safety and wellbeing at all times. Please check before booking tickets;

14. Mokushla Theatre Company will not re-issue lost or stolen tickets;

15. Mokushla Theatre Company reserve the right to confiscate from customers any alcohol brought to the performance.

16. Mokushla Theatre Company , whose duty it is to take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account, reserves the right to refuse admission to a performance, and at their reasonable discretion may from time to time carry out security searches.

17. Mokushla Theatre Company reserves the right to refuse admission to or ask to leave the venue anyone on account of being (or appearing to be) under age, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken, other antisocial behaviour, behaviour deemed to be unreasonable or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings. 

18. Mokushla Theatre Company advise that no refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or asked to leave the performance;

Cancellation/Changes:

19. Once tickets are purchased, they are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances;

20. Mokushla Theatre Company  reserve the right to change the date, timing or programme of performances without prior notice. 

21. Mokushla Theatre Company will endeavour to adhere to all timings advertised for all performances; however this is not always possible. Customers are reminded that for technical, operational and/or other reasons timings may be altered at any time without prior notice;

22. In the event of postponement of a performance all purchased tickets will be transferable to the new performance date. No refunds will be offered in the event of a postponement.

23. If the performance is outdoors, in the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to present the show. Where there is inclement weather, and the show carries on as scheduled, refunds will not be offered;

24.  In the event of any changes to a performance by Mokushla Theatre Company , will endeavour to contact all purchasers either by social media, web sites or e-mail using details where provided at time of booking) advising them on the course of action. However, please note that it is the customer's responsibility to check the details of the performance, and Mokushla Theatre Company cannot guarantee that they will inform the customer of any changes.

General:

25. The following items are not permitted to any performance, unless otherwise stated: Alcoholic beverages unless purchased from from the licenced bar at the venue, barbeques, gazebos (except for those agreed and erected in assigned and prepaid locations), Chinese lanterns, candles, fireworks, sparklers, flares, open flames, marquees, parasols, umbrellas, lasers of any description;

26. Customers are asked to report any injuries/incidents/accidents that occur whilst at a performance to a member of the performance organisers at the time;

27. Customers are advised to be aware that if performances are outdoor/open air then no cover is provided;

28. Alcohol must not be brought to the performance. 

29. Mokushla Theatre Company reserves the right to remove alcohol from customers believed to be drinking in excess and/ or ask them to leave the venue; 

30. Mokushla Theatre Company reserves the right to refuse to serve anyone believed to be drinking to excess and/ or ask them to leave the venue;

31. Performances where an age restriction applies are clearly indicated on all promotional material, and during booking. Customers are advised to read all information which applies to the performance before booking, and carry proof of age if appropriate;

32. Mokushla Theatre Company  prohibits photography and use of video/recording equipment during performances. 

33. Mokushla Theatre Company may be required to apply specific procedures or restrictions at venues to comply with local or national guidance or restrictions in place at the time of the performance. We will display details of procedures and restrictions in the venue. Anyone failing to comply with these procedures or restrictions will be asked to leave the venue;

34. Mokushla Theatre Company will always respect your privacy and any personal communication between you and ourselves. We will always endeavour to comply with any data protection legislation currently in force.
